Privacy policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what information CALFAB ("we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.cal-fab.com.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact or quote-request form, we collect the information you enter, typically your name, email address, phone number, company (if provided), project location, and the project details you describe.
Information collected automatically. As with most websites, our hosting server may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to prepare and discuss quotes, and to communicate with you about your project. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How we share information
We share personal information only with the categories of third parties needed to operate this site and respond to you: our website hosting and email providers, and our content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare), whose Turnstile tool screens form submissions for spam and bots. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and "Do Not Track"
This site uses minimal cookies and does not track you across other websites for advertising. Our contact and quote forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check, which may set a temporary token to confirm you are a real visitor; it does not track you across sites or profile you. Because we do not conduct advertising tracking, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep information
We keep contact and quote-request submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our business and legal records, after which we delete or de-identify them. Server logs that include technical information such as IP addresses are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting and are then rotated out. If you would like the information you submitted removed sooner, contact us using the details below and we will accommodate the request where we are able.
Reviewing or changing your information
You may ask us to review, update, or delete the personal information you submitted through this site by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Client Portal
For clients we issue a login to, CALFAB offers a secure Client Portal where project documents are made available. The Portal collects and stores some additional information, such as account credentials and access records. How we handle information in the Portal is described in our Client Portal Privacy notice, which should be read together with this policy and is available to read whether or not you have an account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
